Step 1: Login into Horizon using your username and password supplied to you.
Step 2: Go to “Users” tab then select “List Users”.
Step 3: Select the your own name by clicking “Edit”.
Step 4: Click the “Phone” tab to enter phone settings.
Step 5: Click the “Device Customisation” button to start
customising your device.
Step 6: Select the key type you would like to change, “Soft
Keys” “Line Keys”.
Step 7: Depending on the key type you have selected different options will be available.
Step 8: You can configure each button by clicking on the button.
Step 9: You can select the different options below:
Redial - This allows you to redial from your call history
Forward - This allows you to forward a call to another
device. Once pressed you will have to define the destination number. To disable
press this soft key again.
DND - This option allows you to enable/disable the Do Not
Disturb feature. This will mean you will not be able to receive a call while
enabled. To disable press the soft key again.
Directories - This will bring up the directory menu where
you can search for a contact.
Redial Last Call - This allows you to redial the last call
you have made.
Call return - This allows you to return the last call.
Group Pickup - This allows you to pick up a call from a
group. Make sure you are a member of a pickup group.
Pickup - This allows you to pick up a call.
Parked Call Retrieve - This allows you to retrieve a call that
has been parked.
None - This will leave an empty space on this location.
Default - This selects the default option which is the Busy
Speed Dial - This will allow you to assign a speed dial to
the selected line key. The name supplied will appear on the device.
Busy Lamp Field - This will allow you to monitor a user. You
will be able to setup the BLF users on the BLF page found under Call Setup >
Incoming Calls > Advanced > BLF.
Call Park - This will allow you to park a call against your
own number or to another extension.
Call Retrieve - This will allow you to retrieve a parked
call. You can specify the extension where you would like to retrieve the parked
Group Call Park - This will allow you to park the call
against the call park group that you are in. Other users within this group will
be able to pick up a call parked by using Group Call Pickup.
Call Pickup - This will allow you to pick up a call that’s
has been parked against your number.
Group Call Pickup - This will allow you to pick up a call
that has been parked in the call park group you are in.
Page Group - This will allow you to call the Page Group.
Step 10: Click “Save” button, now your customised phone is ready to use.
